Model/Manufacturer: Acer
Comment:
Hi

I am having some trouble with my Epson Perfection 1250 scanner: The 'on' led doesn't lite even when I have the power cable and usb cable in the scanner back. (the device is power cord driven) Can it be a faulty power cord (it worked perfectly for years) or is the scanner broken. How can I test this?

Many Thanks

Cheers

"Can it be a faulty power cord"

That's not very likely. Scanners fail occasionally, power cords practically never fail unless they are chewed apart by a rodent.
