Hi,
I got this monitor for my birthday a couple weeks ago. (YAY!)The instructions for hookup are vague.
It suggests connecting both the 15 pin cable and 24 pin cable if your video card supports both.
Well, I did that and have it set to digital. My problem is, I'm showing 2 plug-n-play monitors now.
I can't get rid of one of them. If I try windows (2000) just finds two again. Also, I cannot set the refresh rate for the LCD.
Do I have it set up wrong? It seems I should be able to get a better looking screen than I have.
My video card is an ATI 7500.
Thanks!

I think you must have read the manual wrong. Immediately disconnect one of the leads. You are feeding both signals from a dualhead card into one display. That can't be good for it.

Hi,
Thanks for the reply, but I didn't read the manual wrong. The company has now admitted to me it was written wrong!I have removed the 15 pin cable and all is fine now.

You can't change refresh rates on LCD's. There is no reason to do so, they don't flicker like a CRT monitor.

Yes, thank you... I've been told that recently too.
I don't understand why their documentation recommends I use a 75hz refresh rate.I like the monitor, but the user info stinks!

You CAN change refresh rates on most LCD displays. The big difference is that usually 60Hz looks fine. You change the refresh rate in the driver sotware for you video card. Also the native resolution is where you should run the display at most times. That will produce the best picture.
