Comment:

I have an emachine T3418 with Windows XP. I tried the online chat with emachines.com and basically I had a very rude (towards myself) and brief conversation with a techie that said that my warranty was expired and offered no advice.

My USB ports on the front and back and my digital media manager with my memory stick slot no longer register anything I hook up to them.

Can someone PLEASE help me?

Emachines website for drivers. Have you tried system restore? Try that first. Start-all programs-accessories-system tools-system restore. Click see more restore points. Go back a week or 2.
