dvi-vga any changes

Specs: Windows xp, 3GB
hi, iam using xfx hd 4670. i ask what i plugged in dvi-vga converter in my lg flatron 19.5 in monitor, can i get any changes in my display.

What kind if cable are you using. A dvi or vga? Your graphics card and your monitor should have a dvi connection, but I know some monitors only have a vga. If your monitor only has a vga connection, then you'll have to use an adapter.

An adapter is just that. Adapters can't increase the quality of the original signal. Adapters are available so a mismatched port/cable combination can be used.

If your monitor doesn't have a DVI input, just use the VGA cable from the video card to the monitor. You won't notice any difference.
