For those that use DVI over VGA how does the picture quality differ? I have an LCD w/ DVI-D and a graphic card that supports DVI-I (in other words it allows for DVI-I) was thinking about buying a DVI cable but I don't know if it'll be worth the upgrade. Any comment on this would be appreaciated.

well i thought i'd give dvi a try after reading some impressions on the other fourms. so i went out and bought dvi-d cable.
there is difference between vga and dvi. colors are more vivid especially colors like red, green, blue and black. i haven't tried games yet.
with vga (on my lcd) straight lines were kinda fuzzy now they're more define; more sharp.
i would say if anyone wants to maximize the potential of their hardware (like me) it's obvious they should upgrade. but if you can live with it, save the pocket change.
