Reply: (edit)I don't understand "dual version". But could it have been `dual layer'? Newer DVD drives are able to record two layers of data. Doubling the amount that can be stored on a disc.

Reply: (edit)No, I agree with Ham. Dual version/dual writer means both + and -. Dual layer means that you'll be able to use dual layer dvd's for twice as much storage capacity.
