I am looking at some DVD Writers. I would like one that burns on DVD-R/RW, DVD+R/RW, and DVD-RAM. The DVD-RAM is a random access format that is not very common but I would like to be maximum compatible.

I like the Sony and the Pioneer duel format drive, but I know there are drives out there that do the three formats can anyone recommend one or to good ones.

Oh it would help if they had first hand exp with the drive but recommendations are still good thanx :)

DVD ram is a completely different format. You will not find one that uses all three formats.

Stick with the DVD-R/RW_DVD+R/RW format. You get less recording time on the disc, but the disc can be shared with stand-alone dvd players and other pc's.
