I have a NEC DVD+RW ND-1100A burner, it was working well until now. When I put a blank DVD in it, it tries to load but doesn't. Then I right-click start, go to explore and it's labeled as "CD Drive G:" and when I click on the drive it says, "G:\ is not accessible." It should be labeled "DVD/CD-RW Drive G:." It plays DVDs fine. Has anyone had this problem or know how to fix it? If you have any suggestions please post, thanks

You need to install some burning software.

A blank CDR or DVDR is like there is nothing in the drive. This situation is only acceptable while you are using a burning software.Make sure the software is installed.Good luck.
