Specs: Window xp sp 3, Dual core /2 GB
Something is wrong with the DVD/CD-ROM. Whenever I insert a dvd/cd in the dvd/cd-rom it does not auto start nowdays. After inserting the dvd/cd in the dvd/cd-rom it will appear in My Computer after 1 or 2 minutes only and even sometime I have to eject two three times then only it will appear. My DVD/CD- ROM drive is OPTIARC DVD RW AD - 7560S. Is this because of the driver problem ? Do I have to reinstall the driver if so from where shall I get those driver.

I would start by cleaning the drive. Cleaning kits can be found in cheapo stores.

Then assuming it is a desktop, reseat its interface cable (maybe both ends) by slightly pulling out, then pressing home.

If the drive did work and now it does not, bear in mind they are throwaway devices as replacing is inexpensive.

Have you changed the o/s recently, which might explain why no autostart. Although I doubt this as you advise there is also trouble with 'seeing' the cd.

Good Luck - Keep us posted.
