I have a CD/DVD Rom Burner combo on my laptop and it will not recognize DVDs but will recognize CDs. This has always worked fine and started doing this yesterday. I reinstalled the drivers and this did not correct the problem. Device Manager shows that the rom is working properly. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

FYI. Combination drives use different lasers units for CDs then they do for DVDs.
