I recently had a nasty virus that disabled my internet/ flash drives/dvd/cd on my HP laptop. HP suggested I wipe the drive. Everythings back except my dvd. It says its working properly; I went to Microsoft and updated all driver, went through the entire troubleshooting tutorial and found nothing. I don't kjnow what else to do. Does it sound like the Virus disabled it permanently? Maybe it just died on me? It was working right up until I got the virus but not after I wiped the computer.
