Hi guys, I own a hp 100i DVD+RW. When I bought my new system, I asked them to install a DVD burner for me. However, the problem is that, the technician told me that, this will burn +r & +rw but now, I see that it is not truth. I went there to change it with the one, which can burn +r & +rw. but they didn’t accept that, so now that they did not tell me the truth I want to make my DVD writer defective because I bought 3 year warranty and since this DVD writer is discontinued, they have to ether change it with the one they promised or they have to return my money back. This was the story. Now, which one of you guys can tell me how I can make my DVD writer defective without opening it, in a way it is included in the warranty. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

LOL... omg.. they actually told you to make it defective??? ok.. try this... take it out, and magnetize it.. :P lol...
