I have been trying to play a DVD in my Dell Dimension's DVD rom player and it keeps telling me the disc is damaged. However, this same disc will play perfectly in all the other dvd players in my house. I even borrowed two other copies of this movie from my friend and mother-in-law and their discs do the same thing. And what's more is this DVD movie set includes 3 discs...but disc 2 is the only one that will not play on my computer. The only reason I need to play the dvd on my PC is becasue I am making screen captures of the film for a project or I would just watch it on my regular dvd player. I have been in contact with Dell and they have no idea why the DVD rom will not play this one disc and still play the others, though I have been noticing choppy playback on those discs and some of my other dvd's as well lately. Could this be a driver going bad? Would a cd rom cleaner help me? Any suggestions would be most helpful! Thanks!
