hi there, i need help! i was watching some DVD my friend gave me and need to change region 4 to 1 then after a few times of chnaging it. i now can't change back to my region 4 is there possible way i can change back. My dvdrom is samsung CD/DVDW TS-H552U

read here theres a limit of 5 region changes on that unit.

use nero info tool to see how many changes you have left then if your out then maybe and only maybe a flash upgrade might reset.

you need to research abit to be sure otherwise its permanent region.

cdfreaks is a pretty good site for info so start there also see 'liveupdate feature.

if you do't have any changes left then you have 2 options either find a frimware update for that device and that will reset the count or use region free software that will override the region code lock setting.

Be careful with firmware from any source other than the manufacturer site. Applying wrong firmwares more often than not kill the drive.
