Specs: Windows XP
I want to copy a DVD on the computer to a DVD. What type of DVD do I need. I have DVD-Rs but I don't think they are for the computer. Right?

Most dvd burners can use dvd-+r, & rw, as you have dvd-r, there's no reason they can't work, unless you have one of the older one's that can only use dvd+r.
To copy dvd's they need to be the same capacity, if the dvd you are trying to copy is a dual layer 8.5gb you will need the same to copy it. if it's 4.7gb then the standard one's will do.
If the dvd you want to copy is a commercial movie dvd, it will probably be copy protected.
