Hello,
I put a disc in my DVD player and now there is no way to open it. I guess it's suck. My computer says that there is no disc in there. Any suggestions?

Thsi may sound stupid: straighten a wire paper clip (unwind about half of it). On the front of your drive, probably toward the right side, is (should be) a little hole, just large enough to stick in the paper clip. (Be sure you turn off the power and unplug your computer FIRST). Push in the straightened clip, slowly but firmly, and straight. You will encounter a little resistance. This should pop open the drive door enough so you can pull it completely open and remove the disk. There is a good chance the drive is OK, maybe the disk is jammed or locked it up somehow. But really, that is what that hole is for. Now you can start the computer, and watch to see if the drive LED comes on during boot up. (Make sure you remove the wire paperclip). If no light, check all cable and power connections. Good luck.
