DVD drive problem

After flashing my DVD/CDRW drive my other DVD drive does not work anymore. How can it be?

My 'guess' is that you flashed the wrong drive.

sometimes updateing the firmware can kill a drive (seen it countless times)

How old is the drive, is it under warranty if so contact manufacturer

if not try rolling back the firmware and see what happens if still no go new drive is in order
