Specs: Windows 64
Try to put a DVD in the Optical Drive and it won't fit over the little black circular piece in the center,
that looks like an old time adapter for 45 records.

Is the optical drive an internal drive in a laptop computer?

Have you ever used that drive before?

You may need to gently push down on the disk while it is positioned over the spindle.

Are there any paper labels on the disk/s?

Need more details.

Thanks for your help OtheHill. I was afraid to push the DVD down too hard.

The type of optical drive you have can be mounted vertically so the only way the disk can be inserted is to actually grab hold of the spindle, as opposed to home and desktop optical players that have trays. There is a third type of player that has no tray, just a slot that you insert the edge of the disk and the player pulls the disk in.. Mostly used in cars.
