I have a NEC dvd burner, about three months old, I use nero to burn DVD's, and also DVD shrink. I am having some compatibility problems with DVD's not working in players. Usually it happens at the end of the movie. Is it the discs, the burner, software what, please advise me on what to do? Does NEC have a history of problems

What kind of DVDs do you use? What NEC DVD burner do you have? (write/read speeds) A little more information would help out alot; also make sure that you buy good DVDs and that the speed of your DVDs are the same speed that the DVD writer can write (max)

i use and NEC 16X for i for i think both plus and minus DVDs, it can do dual layer DVD's also at 2.4X. I use Fujifilm and TDK plus and minus R's. I usually burn at 4X because that seems to help compatibility
