Comment: Hi i have a LG GSA 4081b dvd burner and it doesn't read dvd movies or blank discs anymore yesterday i just copied a game and it burned fine now i tryed to do a movie and it wouldn't read same with the blank disc. i even tried other movies i burned that have no scratched and still didn't read is my laser dead ? is there a program to check if its dead ? please someone help me thanks.

Reply: (edit)Hey man, I actually have the same dvd burner and had the same problem as you do. All I did was uninstall the device and re-installed it, and went and got the newest firmware for it, and it worked fine again. Hope that will help you.
