Hi All,

I have a DVD Burner (master)and a CD-Rom Burner (slave) on the same ribbon plugged into IDE2 on my motherboard (MSI MS-6380 LE).

The problem is that one will work but not both ! ! !

What am I doing wrong, should I use one to a ribbon ? ? ? ? ? ?

Thanks in advance,

they should work together, but personally, I try to place optical drives on oppsoite channels whenever possible...same goes for hard drives. Double check your jumper settings. Do NOT use cable select.
