My printer is putting kind of thick lines, 3-4 acrossed every page I print. I tried to clean the printer cartridge roller but no luck. Anyone have any thought, this is for my Home Business and it looks unprofessional. TIA.

You didn't state if you have a laser or inkjet printer.
The only thing I can think of is to delete and reinstall the printer drivers. You might go on the manufacturers website and see if there are updated drivers you can use, just in case this is a "bug" with their machine and they corrected it in the latest release of drivers. That happens more often than one might think.

If a laser, perhaps your toner is running low, or a mechanical problem with the cartridge.

If that is not it, it may be a mechanical problem.

Sorry, yes it is a laser printer. The toner level is fine I think, I just replaced it not to long ago. The lines are always in the same places, it's like the toner gets placed on the roller in a line and on the page it's (the line) faded like it was just a dirty roller, not as clear as the type. But it's always there even after cleaning, could it be a bad cartridge?

Get yourself a can of compressed air, take out the toner cartridge and drum, and give the printer a good blow out, thats what I tell the techies to do when one of our printers starts covering pages with that god awful toner.

If after what Adam suggested doesn't work, probably your drum needs replacement. After a few years or heavy usage, they develop wear marks in the drum and the toner collects in these grooves and is transferred as lines. Replace the cartridge first though, to check. less expensive.
