Dualview not working properly

August 15, 2009 at 16:02:38
Specs: Windows XP Professional
I recently purchased a Samsung UN40B7000 and am currently attempting to connect it to my computer. I am using a Samsung 2232BW 22" Monitor and an EVGA GTX280 Video Card. Whenever I run the displays in Clone it works fine, however I want to run the TV at a different resolution than the monitor which i why I am trying to use Dualview. Whenever I enable Dualview, the screen I set as primary works fine, but the other screen is just black. When I change the resolution, the screen autoadjusts to it but it still doesn't actually show anything. I have tried turning off the Nvidia control panel and turning on the dual screen setting in Windows but it does the same thing. I just updated to the 190.38 drivers and it still hasn't changed anything. Does anyone have any idea what the problem might be?

Edit: The main monitor (22") is set at 1680x1050, the TV (40") is set at 1920x1080. As stated above though, I have tried the TV at lower resolutions to no avail.

In the NVidia Control Panel there should be Basic and Advanced Settings, you need to configure manually in the Advanced Settings.
