Comment:

Is there any reason at all for Windows 98 to run better with dual processors? I mean I know it doesn't utilize them both, but what happens when you do run with both? Also, do the processors in a dual system have to be the exact same to run in dual mode?
thanks

Win9x/Me will ignore the second processor. For dual processors it is best to have a matching set. Speed/Cache, try to match the SL codes on the processor.

you also need an OS that will support dual CPUs, like Windows NT 4, 2000, or XP or some flavor of Linux
