Can I use dual channel ram with 2 more sticks of single channel ram ?

all 512mb ram, dual channel and another single stick is corsair ddr400 and 4th one is centon ddr333

mobo is asus a8v deluxe and processor athlon64 3000+ venice socket 939

Your motherboard manual should tell you if you can. If you don't have one, look on ASUS's site.

There is no such thing as "dual channel RAM". Dual channel mode is a function of the motherboard, not the RAM. However, there is RAM should in pairs to be used on boards that support dual channel mode...usually called a dual channel kit.

You can usually run two sticks of RAM of similar specs in dual channel mode, but in your case, the PC2700 (DDR333) won't pair up with the PC3200 (DDR400).

Why do you need more than 1GB (2 x 512MB) of RAM anyway?
