Reply: (edit)Your motherboard manual should tell you if you can. If you don't have one, look on ASUS's site. Rule #1 Good computers don't go down. Rule #2 There is no such thing as a good computer.

Reply: (edit)There is no such thing as "dual channel RAM". Dual channel mode is a function of the motherboard, not the RAM. However, there is RAM should in pairs to be used on boards that support dual channel mode...usually called a dual channel kit. You can usually run two sticks of RAM of similar specs in dual channel mode, but in your case, the PC2700 (DDR333) won't pair up with the PC3200 (DDR400). Why do you need more than 1GB (2 x 512MB) of RAM anyway? ASUS A7N8X-X Athlon XP 1800+ 8.5 x 200MHz 1024MB PC3200 2.5-3-3-7 Asus A9550GE/TD 128MB WinME/WinXP Pro SP1
