Hello All,
I followed the excellent advice given on here and successfully installed my ATI Radion HD2400 PRO PCI-E Graphics Card:)...which has led to my quick return and next question which i hope you can help me with.
The ATI Radion HD2400PRO PCI-E Graphics Card has one single DVI and VGA to monitor connection, i use CAD and graphic design programmes (No Gaming) and would like a dual monitor set-up, giving me the ability for example to have different pages open on each display?
The 2 Monitors i have are as follows:
LG RZ 15LA32 - 15" LCD TV (Primary)
Product Type LCD TV
Diagonal Size 15"
Digital Television Certification EDTV monitor
Resolution 1024 x 768
Video Interface Composite, S-Video, SCART
PC Interface VGA (HD-15)
Technology TFT active matrix
Image Aspect Ratio 4:3
Power AC 120/230 Vand a...
Dell 17" TFT/LCD flat panel monitor (E177FPC)
17-inch TFT Active Matrix LCD Monitor
15-pin VGA connector
100 - 240V, 50/60Hz, 1.5AThe crux of the question is can i use the DVI connection on G/card to supply the LG monitor using a (DVI to VGA) adapter, and then a normal VGA to VGA cable for the DELL monitor? or would i be better off using a splitter going from the single DVI connection on the G/Card to both monitors? is this possible or would there be a problem using the two types of monitor i have to set up dual monitors?
I appreciate your time in helping me with this issue and thakyou in advance for your help.
Chris
