Hello, this is concerning a problem that I am having with
dual monitors that has started up recently. My problem is
that my second monitor will not activate itself to show the
second desktop. The computer recognizes it is there and
sometimes when I start up and keep it off it will work but
as of late nothing will happen, I click extend my desktop
to this monitor but nothing happens after I click apply or
just click ok. It used to be that I had to boot up with the
second monitor off and then when I get into windows hit
extend desktop and it would go, but now not even that
will work. Any help would be appreciated I have
reinstalled the video card drivers but have a feeling taht I
will have to try that again or maybe just reinstall windows
I'm not sure. Thanks all.

switch monitors to see if problem follows, also switch video cards for same reason & post results
