I just installed two MSI Nvidia 6600Gt's on my Asus A8N SLI Premium Mobo, for some reason when I activated, "Enable SLI Multi-GPU", and "Show GPU load balancing" after restarting my pc turned off my second monitor and said something about it only being used in SLI applications. please help, like having lots of desktop space.

Is the 2nd monitor connected to the 2nd video card? If so, connect it to the 2nd port ont he first video card.

kk, I did that and after re-installing drivers as well, it works, only thing that seems unusual to me is that my second monitor is being recognized as the 3rd monitor.
