Dual Ethernet?

Hi, i just picked EVGA 780i mobo(awesome btw), and it has Dual Ethernet, im no tech idiot, but ive never seen/heard of dual Ethernet mobos, so whats the point of the other port?

one thing i could do with that is have one post used for my broadband internet connection, and use the other port to network to another pc (if i did not have a router / hub).

with dual ethernet ports you can hook them up to a router and bridge them together for better transfer to and from internet and your lan.

Dual network configs for different connections.
