I bought 2 256 MB DDR-DIMMs PC3200. I have the MSI K7N2 D. When I install both Dimms the PC wont start. In the mobo manual there isn't any info about installation of Duall-ddr except of where it should be placed. I placed it by the book but when i turn it on it beeps every 2-3 seconds and doesnt show anything. What can I do?

I have the exact same board and memory. I installed the memory to use the Dual Channel DDR feature. I think I installed the memory in slots 1 and 3. Not sure, I can check later, but I think that's how I have it.

If it won't boot with the ram in the slots for dual, move one of them to the other slot. That will place both sticks on one channel. The performance with dual memory channels enabled is somewhere beween O and 5% increase. Your memory may not be matched up properly. If it was purchased in a paired box and it won't boot, send it back. Before that though, check your memory settings in the BIOS. Some vendors use agressive timings as default to make the board appear to be faster. You may need to back the settings off some. When you spend the extra cash for what is called dual DDR ram, what you get is two sticks that have been test matched to be equal to one another. If you just buy off the shelf, you may or may not get the same.

Besides, running dual channel mode on the socket A is virtually worthless anyway...you're better off with PC3200 running in single channel mode...

There has been issues with that boards nforce chipset and certain brands of memory.
I think they recommend Corsair and putting one stick in purple slot and one stick in the green slot.

i tried to put them at least at the non dual ddr slots but the problems remain. Could it be the voltage of the memory. In the bios screen it says it is 2.7 volts.
