Dual CPU Xeon E5520

Specs: Windows XP
I buy supermicro motherboard X8DTL-I
and 2 CPU E5520
And I buy tested ram that support by the motherboard
But when I start to boot nothing boot just black screen nothing NO POST NO ANY THING
by removing CPU (2) the pc boot and work
only 1 CPU is work
can't work with both

I test each CPU one at a time in every socket
Then I test each CPU in each CPU socket (socket 1, socket 2).
i think i have bad CPU socket.(socket 2).

I TRY in bios setup but also nothing

is there any setting that can make it work

First, normally you can't just have a CPU in the 2nd CPU socket. Most of the time you must have a CPu in socket 1 to be able to use one in socket 2.

If that was how you determined the 2nd socket was bad, then it's not a good test.

Second, if you just bought this motherboard, and it won't work as advertised, return it and get a new one.

no i try first with dual CPU but i can't boot
i can't see POST screen just black screen nothing

so i try later to use only one CPU
then it work with only one CPU

i don't know if there any setup for dual CPU in bios
