Hi
Planning to buy a new computer
So far this is the spec i want
P4 2.6GHz 800Mhz FSB
Asus P4P800
512MB Ram

My question concerns the RAM
Right now I wanna get 1x512MB and not utilize my Dual Channel but later on I wanna add another stick of 512MB

Is there anything special i should look out for in the second stick of 512MB ram to utilize my dual channel?

or should i just get 2x256MB ram now?
But i would really like to avoid buying 1GB ram down the road just to upgrade to 1GB ram.

Thanks

Dual channel RAM is sold in pairs...if you only buy one stick of 512mb now, chances are, you'll gonna have trouble pairing it up later...either get 2 x 256 or 2 x 512
