I currently have Vista 32 and Vista 64 dual booting (I need a 32bit operating system). It seems more logical to have XP and Vista 64. I already have the dual boot with Vista 32 and 64, is it easy to convert my vista 32 partition into xp?
How would i do this?
Also where would I find the (press F6) raid drivers for 790i ultra Motherboard?
Thanks

It depends on what you call easy.
First, you need to install XP using your XP CD. You will need to install it on the same partition as Vista 32, but make sure you format that partition first. Quick NTFS format should suffice. After that, install all your drivers. Then you'll need a program such as EasyBCD to reinstall the Vista bootloader because XP overwrites the Vista bootloader with its own which is incompatible with Vista and doesn't even see Vista in the first place. Until you use EasyBCD, you will not be able to boot to Vista at all, only XP.
As for the 790i drivers, see here. As for making the RAID driver disk, see here.

I used this tutorial here.
It is easy to follow step by step instructions.
Instead of loading the drivers at the F6 prompt I used nLite to slipstream my RAID and SATA drivers onto an XP install disk and also created an unattended install.
He also explains how to restore Vistas' boot loader and include XP in it using the Vista installation disc.

Thanks for the help. I still can't find my raid drivers for nvidia 790i ultra mb. Also, it sounds like the best thing to do would be to reformat everything and do it from scratch.
Could someone tell me the order to install the operating systems. I am guessing XP then Vista. Are there any complications?

The link Rayburn gave you was good:
http://www.nvidia.com/object/nforce...
The link above will give you the drivers but it seems you have to download them all (50MB) in one hit.
The link to the tutorial has 2 versions to install dual boot Vista & XP OS's. XP then Vista and Vista then XP, I read and decided Vista then XP was easiest and less complicated for me.
