Comment:

I had Windows Vista on my computer, than I found another hard drive and I installed XP on it (both Hard Drives are SATA II).

Anyways I do not want XP too see the Vista Hard Drive and the other way around. When I switch Operating Systems I go into my BIOs and disable one and enable another one.

Is this hard on my BIOs keep going in and changing these settings all the time? Would I be better to use a piece of Software, or is there a way I can set this dual boot setup without software. I know how to set it up when both hard drives can see each other, but I do not want them to see each other.

Thank You,

Jesse

It's not hard on the bios at all. I have used that method for years with w95, win98 and XP. It has some advantages over software switching that I like.
