Dual boot vintage 1990 2 HDD game PC - DOS & Win 98

Specs: Windows 98se, pentium II / 256mb
Pre Y2K gateway G6-333c. Can I cable select boot one or the other Hard drives? how would I do that? One with win 98se, the other DOS 6.22. This is my 90's gaming machine.

If you're talking about the cable select jumper setting on the hard drives, the preference is to use master & slave. Other than that, try installing a boot manager such as GAG. I don't know if it's still being supported, but it will definitely work with DOS & Win98.

If you only need access to one drive at a time you can set the drive type of the one you don't want to use to NONE in cmos/bios setup. The system will then boot from the other. In that case you'd need both drives set active by fdisk.

Of course a boot manager would be an easier route.
