Hey, ive heard that the new amd fx is the same as the opteron. So could you just slap on two amds fxs on a dual processor opteron board? and if so, would you be able to run with only 1 processor for a while on a dual processor board?

When it comes to multi tasking like doin something in some Adobe program that likes to suck up all your cycles while editing some video and then at the same time making a power point, you would see a big difference. But since games aren't made to take advantage of 2 processors, you won't see a difference.
