Reply: (edit)Buy whichever one that also has an Ethernet port(some have both). USB chokes for broadband and should be avoided if at all possible. I find it difficult to believe that an Ethernet option is not available. Jimi_l

Reply: (edit)I agree with Jimi. As you get familiar with DSL, its capabilities and possibilities, you will wish you had an Ethernet connection. If you ever want to share the connection in the future, an Ethernet port makes the job a whole lot easier. Also a USB DSL Modem can have an adverse effect on other USB devices plugged into the same Root Hub. Stuart

Reply: (edit)Hello, forgive my ignorance because I am new to this. Going by the above information do I have to buy wireless router because my Xbox uses the Ethernet port on the DSL modem and if I am not mistaken if I use the Usb port for my laptop I will not get the same performance from my modem. Is the performance difference really noticable? Thanks
