DSL Filter UPS

Hi Guys/Gals Does anybody know where to put a DSL phone filter when inline with a UPS, question is should it be installed before or after the line protecdtion jack on the UPS ? Thanks in advance.....

Neither. Install it by the wall receptacle.

I would install it in the line protected jack of the UPS. But it really shouldn't matter.
But that line should not go to the DSL modem.
DSL phone filters should be installed in all the 'phone jacks' in the house except the one that the DSL modem plugs into.
Do yourself a favor BACKUP!

Sorry if I did'nt give more info, here is what I have, first UPS has DSL modem and a web server on it in the basement, this UPS is for a workstation that has need for FAX line and phone in my office upstairs, so it looks like the Filter can be on either side of the second UPS as it has nothing to do with the DSL modem.
