Hewlett-packard / G60-247cl

Specs: Windows 7
I dropped my laptop, like 2 feet to the ground.
My laptop froze up, and I thought it was just a
minor fall, so I turned it off. Restarted it. "Error
Loading Operating System." I have photos...
precious photos, that's all I worry about. The
photos. How can I get it to other computer? I
cant access my laptop, because of the error.
HELP. Please. I beg you. I tried doing Ubuntu,
but.. I dont know how to do the partition
thing... HELP. :(

Can you get into safe mode? or into boot options...Last known working configuration ?

Sounds like the hard drive got jarred and you have lost a few files.

If you have the installation cd doing a repair install may save the day. Doing just a repair will not (should not ) effect your pictures.

Repair install NOT full install.

No that didn't work. I'm sorry. Is there any way I can just retrieve
my photos? I dont mind deleting all my other data... Sigh.
