Alright so recently i had to reinstall windows Service pack 2 after I installed it I got Dsl with quest. The modem is a actiontec M1000 my computer didnt detect it so i called quest and they told me that i needed to download a driver. Does anyone know what driver and where i can download it from

they tell you you need to download a driver, for their modem, but they don't tell you where? and how do they expect you to download it, if you can't get on the internet? Are you hooking the modem up to a usb or ethernet port?

"Alright so recently i had to reinstall windows Service pack 2" I'll bet you need the driver for the ethernet card, not the modem. Look at device manager, and see if the network card is properly identified. Are there any yellow exclamation points, red question marks.

yeah it says ethernet and has a exclamation mark and question mark, I now what Network driver to install but when i try and install it now i get 1607 unable to install installshield runtime script.
