drive window open in same window

After opening my computer when i select a drive(C or D) then it opens in new window but i want the drive window also in the same window.where should i change the setting to get in the same window ?

You chose the right setting, as seen in the second pic... that should work

Your explorer program is working correctly. That is the same window. You just went down one level. If you click on one of those folders that screen will change to the files/folders in the folder you clicked on. That is haw it is supposed to work.
If you wish to see both at the same time you will need to tick the other option. Open each folder in its own window.

What isn't working out? If you follow the above instructions you will end up with a separate box for each click.
