Drive not connected, still appearing.

May 18, 2010 at 04:45:12
Specs: Windows XP
I have an external hard drive, when it was connected at home, it appeared as "E:/Ext HD". I have since moved it to my flat, and it now appears as "K:/Ext HD".
I have tried the Control Panel>Admin. Tools>Computer Management>Disk Management approach, but the system will not let me change the drive letter to E:, as it expects me to have a drive in there. I expect this to be down to me not removing the disk drive before I turned the computer off, but surely there is a way to fix this?

Thanks guys.
