i want to reinstall the original windows of my pc,,but i have no back up cd of windows 98..can i download that in any site??on free??thnx..

If XP's too slow for you, I suggest that you upgrade your RAM, switch to XP's "Classic" theme, and avoid torturing yourself with Win9x.

Without knowing his specs (he didn't mention), he may be able to upgrade his RAM, but his CPU and other factors may make WinXP more torture than Win98. Lots of the earlier "Designed for Win98" PC's weren't capable of much more than Win2K (at best). Even though MS recommends a 300MHz minimum CPU, anything less than 500MHz (and loads of RAM) would require some serious tweaking (i.e.-nLite) to be tolerable. Now on the other hand, Windows Embedded or WinFLP may be quite usable on such "antiquated" hardware, but neither have been generally available....
