CPU/Ram: P2/128Mb

problem:won't recognize 8gb hdd(seagate).
i have a Aopen Ax6bc R mother board and
bios seems to recognize HDD when i hit detect and save coms but when i restart,it only shows 1.96gb on desktop/my computer in LBA mode.i've chenged everything around and nothing.I updated the bios already.don't know what else to do.

does any one know?

It's partition is a fat 32
and it's runing win98se
