Specs: Windows 7 64bit, AMD 1090T BLK
Does anybody know if Corsair XMS3 CMX6GX3M3A1600C9 memory will work in an ASUS M4A87TD/USB3 mother board. I know it's not on the QVL but I would still like to know if it will or not Got the 6G kit for free and didn't know if I should try it

If the RAM specs match what the board uses then by all means try it. You aren't going to damage the board. Verify the voltage is actually running at what those sticks require.

All the QVL means is that Asus has actually tested those modules. Once the board is released I don't think they do any further testing. Not sure about that.
