I'm looking into upgrading my 5500 to a x800 or x800xt. I was talking to my friend about it conflicting with my existing PCI mx4000 that powers two lcds on the sides of my station. I'm fairly sure it won't conflict, but I want to know if the newer ATI cards (x800 and up) would support something similar to monitor spanning; i.e. the two monitors have the exact same resolution and trick windows into thinking that its one giant widescreen monitor. I would stick with nvidia but ati has lower priced cards with more pixel pipelines, so I'd rather go with them. Ati's website is obscure when it comes to these kinds of features...so tell me, does ATI support this?
