LOL...nope, I do this for free just like all the rest of the "regulars". I guess you could say it's kind of a hobby. It may seem like I sit here all day answering questions, but I don't. When I'm at home, I check in several times a day as time allows. When I'm at work (& in the office), I always keep computing.net minimized & every once in a while I have a look.

Thanks for saying thanks though...it's the only payment any of us get & it's appreciated when we hear it (or should I say, see it)

Have a good 4th!

andrew, all of us like computers (that's why we hang out inside here to begin with) so we enjoy dsicussing them too. although i can only speak for myself.

i doubt that most of us are devoted civil servants totally devoted to helping our fellow computer user.

but if i see something and i think that i can solve it i go ahead and take the challenge. again i can only speak for myself

(i'm not trying to suggest that the people over here arent' nice)

Jam and everyone else here do a fantastic job at helping people, I browse this site all the time to read up on posts and answers, this is the best site I have seen and has lots of great members, used to answer lots of questions a long time ago as Zero Cool, have not been able to answer peoples questions as for odd reasons as this site came up with server errors when I posted, works great now though so hope to help lots people out in the future

Hope this site lasts forever :D
