Hello. I was wondering whether I need a new power supply, as I have this build now:

CPU: AMD Athlon 64 3500+ 2,2GHz / 640KB Socket 939 (Box)
Case: Antec Sonata Piano Black Quiet 380 W
Monitor: LG Flattron L1715S, 17" Silver/Black
Motherboard: A8N-SLI Deluxe, NVIDIA nForce4
Graphics: MSI GeForce 6800GT 256MB
RAM: 1024 Mt DDR 400 Mhz PC-3200 Kingston
Hard Drive: 160 Gt Seagate Barracuda 7 (7200 Rpm, DMA100, 8 Mt)
DVD/CD-RW: LG DVD/CD-RW Combo (52x/32x/52x CD-RW+16xDVD)
Sound Card: Creative SB Audigy 2 Audio [9000]
Speakers: Creative Inspire P5800 5.1 Speaker System
Mouse: M$ USB Wireless IntelliMouse Explorer (IntelliPoint)
Keyboard: USB/PS2 Delta TB-95 Multimedia Keyboard
Internet: 1 Mbps
OS: WinXP Pro, SP2

As you can see, I have a A8N-SLI Deluxe, running a single 6800GT. I have been told that I need more power, but is this entirely true, as the pc is running for extended periods with no problems? I use it for gaming, mostly RPGs, so the games can be a bit old, but I have run the RTS Battle for Middle-Earth with no probs and for 5-6 hours straight.

Thanks for answering,
Tom

Antec makes good units. Amperage on the +12v rail is the important thing & if this is your PSU, you have nothing to worry about...it has 24A

Yep, that's my PSU allright. I got 309 Watts for my comp, so it seems that I'll do allright with this setup. Thanks for the help, guys.

Regards,
Tom
