does all amd laptops overheats or amd laptop good for gaming i previously own a dv4000 hp laptop whose laptop video car blows up 2times i have to repaired by technician i am afraid of amd does in future i have to buy amd laptop???like amd vision series the dv4 was ati graphic card

HP DV series was HP fault and not AMD.
Good gaming laptop starts around 1000 bucks, if u don't have that cash look at these notebooks

It used to be the case that AMD processors ran hotter than Intel, but it isn't as much of an issue with newer ones.

Apparently you have the gaming version of the dv4000 with the Radeon X700. There were a lot of overheating problems with the dv series but it involved NVIDIA graphics. The dv4000 wasn't included in the class action lawsuit against HP.

AMD Vision uses an APU (CPU with integrated graphics) rather than a CPU & separate graphics chip. I bought an HP notebook with an AMD A4 APU for my kid for college about a year ago & it works great. No problems with overheating or any other issues.

It really depends on the CPU series. The P4 Prescott "hot potato" was a furnace & was notorious for having heat problems.
