This is a brand new system. First time running. I started the computer and it loads up really quick, but it gets stuck on the DMI verifying. I've been reading other posts and nothing is working. I think it has something to do with my hard drive not being formated correctly. I really need some help and would like to use my new computer

I would suggest to first enter the system BIOS and set it to factory defaults. Then reboot the system. DMI stands for Desktop Management Interface and provides informations about the PC.

i've done that twice. The major problem is when I try to install windows 7 it says that it cannot read my hard drives.

So check your BIOS settings, espacially the SATA configuration and set the Controller from AHCI to IDE. Save and exit. Give it another try.
